Are you interested in being a resource to organizations looking for Christian professionals to speak? I've been asked by some ministers if group members can speak on topics of applying faith to life. I know some of us currently speak to groups, so if you'd like to make yourself available for speaking to groups, click the link here and provide contact information and your topic of interest.
On 11/11, we're delighted to welcome Barry McGlothin, Director of Navigators International Student Ministry at UA, Karen McGlothin, Katie Price, Edgar Voltz, and Jessica Voltz. They'll tell us about their ministry to international students at UA.
October was the 70th anniversary of the publication of
CS Lewis's The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Here are some
presentations about the enduring relevance of that story.
- Dr.
Russell Moore on Narnian Faith in a Screwtape World.
- Rev. Dr. Art Lindsley on Imagination, Reason, and You.
These happened on 11/4
- 1898. Pan Xiushan, the first Christian convert among the Hmu in
China's Guizhou Province, and Willian Fleming, a missionary for China
Inland Mission, were martyred. Pan had been translating for the mission.
- 1903. Watchman Nee was born in China. He was a prolific Christian
author, and spent the last 20 years of his life in prison because of his
opposition to Chinese government policies like the Three-Self Movement.
