Christian faculty and staff gathering on Zoom on 4/22 - Hear from Rev. Dr. Steven Ko

So my wife noticed my hair was getting a little longish during this time of staying around the house and said she wanted to give me a haircut. I only had one thing to say .  We are excited to have Reverend Dr. Stephen Ko , Senior Pastor at New York Chinese Alliance Church, join us to share about Christian response to the COVID-19 situation. It's Friday, but Sunday's coming ! I came across an essay about TS Eliot's poem, East Coker IV, that has a special meditation about Good Friday . "…these five stanzas clothe Good Friday’s paradoxical revelations of the nature of salvation, sanctification, and sacrament in the garb of the hospital." "Christ our Lord is “the wounded surgeon” with “the bleeding hands,” healing us who are sick in the knowing and mercy bought of His own sacrifice." "The Church that ministers His salvation is staffed by “dying nurses,” able to attend the suffering because they share in their condition.
